The National University of Malaysia ( Malay: Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, abbreviated as UKM) is a public research university located in Bandar Baru Bangi, Hulu Langat District, Selangor, Malaysia. Its teaching hospital, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia Medical Centre (UKMMC), is located in Cheras and also has a branch campus in Kuala Lumpur .
Both faculties moved back to the main campus in Bangi, Selangor. Since its 49 years of establishment, UKM has produced 204,857 graduates. This university continues to grow as a public university with thirteen (13) faculties and twelve (12) research excellence institutes.
UKM, as a public university of choice and the only National University in Malaysia, attracts local and international students by offering a vast number of programs at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
