Ivacic, 30, appeared in 54 matches for the Timbers from 2020-2023, posting a record of 16-20-18 in that span. The Slovenian native recorded eight shutouts and 192 saves in his time with the Green and Gold.

The Athletic's Tom Bogert announced a report per a source that the Portland Timbers would place the 30-year-old Slovenian Goalkeeper on Waivers sometime this week.

Ivacic, 30, signed as a free agent after being with the Portland Timbers from 2019-23. Arreaga, 29, was acquired via a trade with the Seattle Sounders, the club he was with since 2019.
