The Airbus A350 is a long-range, wide-body twin-engine airliner developed and produced by Airbus . The initial A350 design proposed in 2004, in response to the Boeing 787 Dreamliner, would have been a development of the Airbus A330 with composite wings and new engines.
The A350 Family has two versions: the A350-900, and the longer fuselage A350-1000. A350s fly efficiently on any sector from short-haul to ultra-long-haul routes up to 9,700nm, carrying 300-410 passengers in typical three-class configurations, and up to 480 passengers in a single-class layout.

This is made possible from the A350’s unique weight delta advantage against its most direct competitor. The lighter airframe combined with advanced aerodynamics and Trent XWB engines significantly lower fuel burn, CO2 emissions and maintenance costs while optimising range and payload.
The A350-1000 is powered by the world’s most efficient large aero-engine, the Rolls-Royce Trent XWB-97 turbofans. Nowhere is Airbus innovation more apparent than in the A350’s airframe, which is built with carbon-fibre reinforced plastic and other advanced materials.
The A350 Family is the world’s most modern and efficient widebody family and the long-range leader. It is the only all-new design aircraft in the 300-410 seater category, offering the lowest cost per seat of any large widebody.

Orders and deliveries by type. The A350 family has 1,309 firm orders from 60 customers, of which Turkish Airlines is the largest with 110 orders. A total of 606 aircraft have been delivered as of June 2024. [1] In June 2023, the A350 family aircraft reached 1,000 orders. [1]
