Loyola Academy was founded by Rev Fr T. Baliah SJ in 1976 in Alwal, Secunderabad, Telangana. Initially an Intermediate course and an Associate Degree in Chemical Technology were offered. Subsequently other UG programmes (1978) and PG programmes (1993) were started.
