Jun 29, 2024 · John Gau (c. 1495 – 1553), Scottish translator, was born in Perth towards the close of the 15th century. He was educated in St Salvator's College, St Andrews . He appears to have been in residence in Malmö , Sweden, in 1533, perhaps as chaplain to the Scots community there.

John Gau. Producer: Millionaire. John Gau is an independent television producer. He was educated at Haileybury & ISC, Trinity Hall, Cambridge and the University of Wisconsin. His mother was the actress, Nan Munro. He joined the BBC in 1963 as an assistant film-editor.

Apr 2, 2024 · The Haileybury Society is saddened to learn of the death of John Glen Mackay Gau, CBE (K 54) who has died on 3 rd March 2024, aged 83. At Haileybury John was a Scholar and Prefect, going on to Trinity Hall College Cambridge to read Classical, Medieval and Modern Languages.
