First Tome Batik Air Traveller. Booked on Batik air as very cheap. Airline was half hour delay in departing Sydney, no big deal most other airlines I travel on seems to have timing issues. Was a little bit apprehensive due to bad reviews. My experience was not negative in any way.

I have nearly always requested and received an exit row, due to my height (194cms). As usual, plenty of legroom, although for a long duration flight, the base of the seats could be a little more comfortable.

Further to the 24 hour delay, the flight was delayed by ANOTHER 3 hours. A scheduled 27 hour flight from Europe to Australia turned into a 3 day journey. It was such a terrible experience it’s really not worth it. Don’t do it, spend the extra money and book with any other airline, but Batik Air.
