3 Mac 2024 · The WGA Award for Best Adapted Screenplay, like its Academy Award counterpart, honors the best screenplay based on previously published material. The eligibility and voting processes are the same as for the Best Original Screenplay category, with the requirement that the screenplay be written under the jurisdiction of the WGA or an affiliate guild.
