Jun 11, 2022 · While you might be used to using this email account in the Mail app on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac, you can actually access iCloud Mail from any web browser (including Chrome and Microsoft Edge). iCloud Mail is linked to your Apple ID, but only if your email ID ends with "@icloud.com".
Send and receive email from an @icloud.com address. The first time you sign in to a device with your Apple ID and turn on iCloud Mail, you can create a primary iCloud email address. Any emails you send or receive at that address are stored in the cloud, which frees up space on your device.
