The Japanese chef’s tenacity ultimately became Kuala Lumpur’s good fortune as the Malaysian capital opened Southeast Asia’s first Nobu restaurant in May 2015. (In the same period, Nobu also launched its first hotel in Asia, which is located in Manila.)
After six years of delighting diners with innovative Japanese-Peruvian cuisine punctuated with incredible 56th-floor views of the city from Menara Petronas 3, Nobu Kuala Lumpur will be serving up its last dish in its iconic high-altitude location on December 31.
