Oct 26, 2015 · The only time 2048x1152 60Hz would be the maximum is when something in the HDMI chain is not HDMI 1.4. All four (monitor, cable, video card HDMI port, video card driver) must be HDMI 1.4 to get 2560x1440 60Hz. The monitor HDMI hardware is 1.4. So that leaves either the cable, the port on the video card, or the video card driver as the culprit.

Apr 5, 2009 · On the Dell Support doc the resolution support is stated at 1920 x 1200 However on Intels site the chip supposetly supports 2048x1536 @ 75 Resolution. So i am quite confused at which resolution it really supports, lowering to 1920 x 1080 is not preferred, since i would be better off with a 1920 x 1200 in that case.

A maximum resolution of 2048x1152 through the U2515H HDMI in means that the signal it is getting from the video card is not HDMI 1.4. It is HDMI 1.3. Which is why you are getting 2048x1152. The other user got a 2015 video card and its HDMI was 1.4, so he could do 2560x1440.

If I multiply 1.7787 by 9 (the smaller dimension) I get 16.008, which for all practical purposes makes the screen 16:9 (0.8 pixel discrepancy). 1136/640 = 1.775. So the ratio is 1.775 to 1. Again multiplying by 9 I get 15.975, which again is 16:9 for all practical purposes (2.5 pixel discrepancy).
Apr 15, 2015 · The OSD says Maximum is 2560 x 1440 @60Hz, however in the Windows Control Panel, the highest resolution listed is 2048 x1152. Any ideas how to fix this? I have this problem too (0)

Jul 14, 2009 · Sebas. 2048x1152 is a newer resolution that's become more prevalent in the past 6-9 months. 1920x1200 used to be the limit for single-link monitors on the Mini. But apparently 2048x1152 is supported by the Mini with a single-link digital connection -- according to reports in this forum. The total pixels of those two resolutions are fairly close.
