Known for its accessible location and well-maintained trails, it is one of my favorite hiking spots in KL to escape the hustle and bustle and experience tranquility.
Bukit Kiara is a densely forested area of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The area is in proximity to the suburbs of Bukit Damansara, TTDI, Mont Kiara, Sri Hartamas, and Bangsar.
Kiara Hill is one of the most explorable dense forests surrounded by the urban city. Hikers can come here many times, yet still exploring new interesting trails and places every time. Even on the same trails, I always find new blooming plants that I have never seen before.
There are numerous trails to explore in Bukit Kiara, as well as numerous iconic landmarks such as Starbuczs Swing, Angkor Wat Tree, Kiara Waterfall, Bamboo Curved View, and Bamboo Stop. Bukit Kiara's flora includes rubber trees as well as keruing, kedondong, and perah trees.
This route takes you to some of Bukit Kiara's highlights including the Angkor Wat Tree, Bamboo Curved View, Bukit Kiara peak, and Kiara Waterfall. At the waterfall, you can take a refreshing dip in the cool water.
