Jun 14, 2024 · The reason it’s setting your CPU usage to the max and having the SQLite file grow is because it is loading chunks it’s just doing it kind of stupidly and loading this ones that are super far out that you can’t even see So basically disable chunky and set distant horizons to load an area of probably 512 at most.

Jun 11, 2024 · Distant horizons seems to not be working. Bug. So I tried installing the mod but it doesn't seem to work - the chunks are only generated up until the point where they would usually be. I did notice that sometimes weird "chunks" are generated but they are out of place and generally not how it's meant to be (screenshots below).
I have Distant Horizons Version 2.1.0-a, they added a lot of compatibility with this one. Then I updated the built in shaders, ComplementaryReimagined_r5.1.1 to the latest version 5.2.1. Mar 19, 2024 · In terms of shaders I'm not sure, I have a 2080 super and am running bliss fine with 90 fps at 1440p. Idk how dh performs ram wise, I have 32gb with 12gb allocated to mc. For optimization mods I would just use everything that comes in the iris + distant horizons installer that you can find on the iris discord. Reply.
Dec 11, 2022 · I've tried to get rid of every mod in my mods folder thinking it was a compatibility problem, but apparently it is not. Minecraft version: Fabric 1.18.2. CPU: Intel (R) Core (TM) i7-10700 CPU @ 2.90GHz. RAM: 16GB. Windows version: Windows 11 Home 22H2 x64.

New distant horizons update is insane. Subreddit Rules. I could see this getting added to the main game sometime in the future with how popular it is. I love the mod, it better release on 1.21 soon though. Does anyone have a video anywhere detailing how to set up this mod correctly?
