Innocence (Korean: 결백; RR: Gyeolbaek) is a 2020 South Korean drama film written and directed by Park Sang-hyun. The film stars Shin Hye-sun, Bae Jong-ok, and Heo Joon-ho. It follows a lawyer who defends her mother on trial for murder. Innocence was theatrically released on June 10, 2020.
On July 14, 2015, a group of elderly women were found ill at village hall in Sangju, North Gyeongsang Province after drinking a soda laced with pesticide. 2 of the women died. Police arrested a woman in her 80's and sentenced her to life imprisonment.
