5 days ago · Under the hood, Linux Mint 22 is based on Canonical’s latest LTS (Long Term Support) Ubuntu release, namely Ubuntu 24.04 LTS (Noble Numbat), and it’s powered by the Linux 6.8 kernel series. This means that Linux Mint 22 will also be a long-term support release which will be supported until 2029.
