Zoo Taiping or Taman Mergastua Sultan Idris Shah is the only zoo located in the north of Peninsular Malaysia. Visitors will have a unique experience, exploring the 2.5km viewing road comprising of the West Loop and the East Loop which display the various exhibits in a natural setting.
Tired of walking? Step aboard the zoo tram for free and experience the exciting adventure while listening to narratives about our interesting animals. Tram services are available from 8:30 a.m to 6:00 p.m for Zoo Taiping and 8:00 p.m to 11:00 p.m for Night Safari.
