Juventude RS Juan Manuel Santos Calderón GColIH GCB GColL ODB ( Spanish: [ˈxwan maˈnwel ˈsantos kaldeˈɾon]; born 10 August 1951) is a Colombian politician who was the President of Colombia from 2010 to 2018. He was the sole recipient of the 2016 Nobel Peace Prize .
Juan Manuel Santos, Colombian politician who cofounded (2005) the Social Party of National Unity, served as president of Colombia (2010–18), and won the 2016 Nobel Peace Prize for his efforts to end the long war with the guerrilla organization FARC, which relinquished the last of its weapons in August 2017.
