Carlo Rustichelli (24 December 1916 – 13 November 2004) was an Italian film composer whose career spanned the 1940s to about 1990. His prolific output included about 250 film compositions, as well as arrangements for other films, and music for television.

Carlo Rustichelli, who has been much inspired by the desert, steppe and other exotic locations used in these three movies, has succeeded in creating magnificent epic themes with a middle-eastern flavour which refer back to the great fables from the past like "the thousand and one nights", alternated with exotic dances and battle themes.
