MGM Home Entertainment LLC[1] (also known as Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Home Entertainment, d/b/a MGM Home Entertainment and formerly known as MGM Home Video, MGM/CBS Home Video and MGM/UA Home Video) is the home video distribution arm of the American media company Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer (MGM). It is owned by the Amazon MGM Studios subsidiary of Amazon.

In 1982, after MGM broke off from its partnership with CBS, it was renamed to MGM/UA Home Video (a.k.a. MGM/UA Home Entertainment Group).
In 1997, the UA name was dropped from MGM/UA Home Entertainment, renaming it to MGM Home Entertainment. The assets of the former Orion Home Video was transferred to MGM itself, as well as picking up the pre-1996 PolyGram film library.
