Mack David (July 5, 1912 – December 30, 1993) was an American lyricist and songwriter, best known for his work in film and television, with a career spanning the period between the early 1940s and the early 1970s.
Mack David and Jerry Livingston wrote theme songs together for many successful television series, including Caspar the Friendly Ghost, 77 Sunset Strip, Hawaiian Eye, Bourbon Street Beat and Surfside 6. Their theme song “This is It” for 1960's The Bugs Bunny Hour also became a hit.
Mack David was an American lyricist and songwriter, who helped write the songs for the films Cinderella and Alice in Wonderland with fellow songwriters Al Hoffman and Jerry Livingston. He also contributed to music on two earlier Disney projects Dumbo and Bambi.
