Writer and filmmaker César SODERO (1977, Argentina) studied cinematography and philosophy in Buenos Aires. He wrote his first novel, Sierra Grande, in 2016, the same year he wrote and directed his first short film Una mujer en el bosque . Emilia is his first feature film.

Cesare Sodero (August 2, 1886 – December 16, 1947 [1]) was an Italian conductor who spent much of his career working in the United States . Biography. Born in Naples, Sodero studied with Giuseppe Martucci, and graduated from the Naples Conservatory at fourteen. [2] . He made his conducting debut at the age of fifteen in 1901. [3] .
In his first feature, director César Sodero contrasts Emilia’s inner restlessness with the immutability of Patagonia. He does this using images of impressive landscapes, natural dialogue and telling non-verbal communication.
