José María Salaverría Ipenza a ( Vinaroz, 8 de mayo de 1873- Madrid, 28 de marzo de 1940) fue un periodista y escritor español, coetáneo de las figuras más destacadas de la generación del 98. De ideología regeneracionista en su juventud, contribuyó en la madurez a la elaboración de una versión reaccionaria del nacionalismo español.
