Research Interests: Neural circuit formation during development is fundamentally important for brain functions and requires precise regulation of many cellular processes, including neuronal migration, axon targeting, and synapse formation.
Dr. Chen studies the development and pathogenesis of neural circuits that regulate reward and motivation. Her lab uses molecular, genetic, and imaging techniques to investigate neuronal migration, axon guidance, and synapse formation.
