Tsutomu Shibayama (芝山努, Shibayama Tsutomu, born 9 March 1941) is a Japanese anime director of film and television. He is known for directing the Doraemon TV and Movie series(1984–2005). He was born in Asakusa, Taitō, Tokyo. In 2012 he won Agency for Cultural Affair Award.

Tsutomu Shibayama. Director: Ranma ½. After graduating in Tokyo, he joined Toei Doga in 1963. In 1965 he was promoted from inbetweener and animator to director of animation with the TV Series "Obake no Qtaro" ("Ghost Qtaro"). In 1966 he left Toei and joined A Pro. (later Shin'Ei Doga). His first TV series in the company was "Pa-man" (1967-68).
Shibayama Tsutomu was born March 9, 1941 in Taito, Tokyo, Japan. He is an animator, animation supervisor and director. He was one of the founders of animation studio Ajia-Dou and became the representative director of its newly established subsidiary Ajia-Dou Contents (亜細亜堂コンテンツ) in January 2002.
