The T.A. is an association of members joined by vocation who have different forms of commitment. At the heart of the T.A. is the Primary Association made up of women who are totally dedicated to performing their mission through promises to that end laid down by the Founder.
The Teresian Association manages schools, centres with socio-cultural programmes and those for training of educators, university residences, youth organisations, publications and international cooperation and volunteer programmes.
The novelty presented by the Teresian Association became more evident when the space was sought to fit it, canonically, among the lay associations of the Church that existed at that time. 1924 is an affirmation of the sensus Ecclesiae of Pedro Poveda and his Work.
The Teresian Association is an international association of laymen and women called together to make Jesus present in today’s world. Members seek to promote human advancement and transform social structures through education and culture in both state and private entities and organizations.
