A sociopathic killer named Wheeler is hired to go to a small town and kidnap retired oil millionaire William Phillips. Working with Wheeler on the job is a local named Slick who has a violent temper. The two are supposed to hold Phillips in a cabin for 48 hours while the ransom is delivered.
