In 1961, Kwan Shan joined Shaw and starred in many popular dramas like LOVE WITHOUT END (BUT LIU CHING), THE BLUE AND THE BLACK (LAN YU HAK) to become the most popular melodrama actor of the 60s.
Perhaps best known these days as the father of leading actress Rosamund Kwan, Kwan Shan was in fact one of Shaw Brothers's top leading man during Hong Kong's sixties golden age of Mandarin cinema.
