Lorraine Pintal OC, (born September 24, 1951) is a Canadian actor, director, producer and playwright. Biography. The daughter of Jean Pintal and Anne-Marie Bélanger, she was born in Plessisville and studied at the Conservatoire Lassalle and the Conservatoire d'art dramatique de Montréal.
Lorraine Pintal, née à Plessisville le 24 septembre 1951, est comédienne, réalisatrice télé, animatrice radio,et metteuse en scène. Elle fut directrice artistique et générale du Théâtre du Nouveau Monde à Montréal (Québec) de 1992 à 2024.
Lorraine Pintal trained at the Conservatoire d’art dramatique de Montréal and launched her acting career in 1972 at the Théâtre du Nouveau Monde (TNM). As artistic and general director of the TNM for the past 24 years, she has staged over 30 productions for the company.
