Torri Edwards (born January 31, 1977) is an American sprinter. She competes in 100 and 200 meters , winning an Olympic medal in 4×100-meter relay in 2000 . In 2003, she won six medals in major international competitions, including one World Championship gold.

Torri Edwards was a sprinter who ran at two Olympic Games, winning a bronze medal in the 4x100 relay at the 2000 Athina Olympics. The peak of her career was winning the 2003 100 metre gold medal at the World Championships, at which she also added silvers in the 200 and 4x100 relay.
Prior to 2003, Torri Edwards was just another name in the deep pool of American sprint talent. Last August, the cheerful Californian left Paris as the most heavily decorated athlete of the World Championships.
