Mar 20, 2024 · India’s biggest steel producer JSW and Chinese carmaker SAIC Motor on Wednesday launched a $1.5bn joint venture to build and sell MG-brand electric vehicles in the world’s most populous country.
SAIC Motor, a global Fortune 500 company, and JSW Group, one of India’s leading conglomerates, have entered into a strategic JV to accelerate the growth and transformation of MG Motor in India. The JV will focus on green mobility solutions, local sourcing, charging infrastructure, and expanding production capacity and product range.
