Home > STUDIES > School of Fine Arts. In 2013, with Presidential Decree 71 (GG 119/28.05.2013. τ. Α΄), the School of Fine Arts was founded at the Athens School of Fine Arts, which is formed by two Academic Departments: The Visual Arts Department and the Art Theory and History Department.
The Athens School of Fine Arts is comprised of the Department of Visual Arts (painting, sculpture, printmaking) and the Theory & History Department. Research in the Department of Visual Arts is based on the School’s extensive collection of Greek and International Art, in particular painting, sculpture, mosaics and religious iconography.
