If Demonoid's admins had site backups they easily could have had the site back up in under a day on another host. Instead, 4 months later it comes limping back online, that makes no sense. It's also known that the original server was handed over to the US government.
I've done searches on both Google and Bing knowing that sites like demonoid often are forced to change their addresses but nothing current is showing up under the searches. However, that could be deliberate as major search engines are now practicing widespread censoring.
