Vestron Pictures Inc. was an American film studio and distributor, a former division of Austin O. Furst, Jr.'s Vestron Inc., that is best known for their 1987 release of Dirty Dancing. [1]
Vestron Pictures was the motion picture arm of Vestron Video, set up in January 1986. Today, the Vestron library is owned by Lionsgate Films via their acquisition of Artisan Entertainment.
