In 1979, The Kitchen hosted a concert of reconstructed historical Fluxus performances. Over forty short pieces by thirty artists and composers were performed. Among the works featured were those by renown Fluxus artists Yoko Ono, Ben Vautier, La Monte Young and George Maciunus.
Overview. On March 24, 1979, The Kitchen presented a two-part program dedicated to the work of various Fluxus artists. The programming began with the premiere of Alison Knowles’s “Natural Assembles and the True Crow.”
