Plot. July 16, 1988 a night train (or "red eye") to Yeosu leaves Seoul station and crashes killing 250 people. 15 years later to the day, a train is running the same line for the last time. But it has incorporated some of the coaches from the old crashed train.
On July 16, 1988, a train accident which drives 100 people to death occurs. Without finding the cause of the accident, the case becomes a mystery and soon gets forgotten. After 16 years of the accident, the last train of the day is ready to take off at its platform as the rain is pouring.
