While driving for the first time in his new car, a wealthy art restorer sees a terrible accident but does not help because he doesn’t want to get the new car dirty. He becomes obsessed with the accident until eventually he has a similar crash himself.

Interesante film de Antonio Mercero, que repite con José Luis López Vázquez, con quien hizo la inquietante La cabina. Habla de las consecuencias de los propios actos, simbolizadas en esas manchas de sangre a que alude el título y que aparecen misteriosa y repetidamente en su vehículo.
