Overview. Plain-clothes Inspector Dharam Dev is hot on the tracks of notorious underworld don, Durgaprasad, alias "D.P." But Durgraprased is not only elusive, but shrewd and cunning as well, and spreads of web of lies and deceit, and entraps Dharam in it, and a result of which Dharam himself becomes a suspect for murder, and is arrested.
Butch Stein (Mickey Rourke) is out of prison and back on the streets of Brooklyn, N.Y. A lifelong junkie, Butch quickly falls back into his old ways with best friend Lester (John Enos III).

The film is about Durga Prasad (Kabir Bedi), owner of a shipping company, but whose main business is to cheat innocent people. He is pursued by Inspector Dharam Dev (Dev Anand). Dev is trying to nail him for his misdeeds. He befriends his personal secretary Sapna, (Parveen Babi), to meet his goal.
