The Contact (Korean: 접속; RR: Jeopsok) is a 1997 South Korean romance film directed by Chang Yoon-hyun. Starring Han Suk-kyu and Jeon Do-yeon, it was the second biggest-grossing Korean film of 1997 with 674,933 admissions, and was awarded the Grand Bell Awards for best picture.

May 31, 2021 · A gloomy cyber-romance that proves to be too dull for it's own good, saved slightly by an upbeat final third and a fantastic early Jeon Do-yeon performance. There's perhaps no movie sub-genre as simultaneously and paradoxically relevant and expired as the internet romance.
