Brendan John Canty (born March 9, 1966) is an American musician, composer, producer and filmmaker, best known as the drummer for the band Fugazi. In 2007, Stylus Magazine ranked Canty at No. 29 on the list of "50 Greatest Rock Drummers".
Brendan Canty is a prolific and award-winning director and editor of music videos, short films and TV shows. He is known for his work with Hozier, Dermot Kennedy and Barry Keoghan, and has a feature film in development with BBC Films and Screen Ireland.
