SNB is the largest commercial bank in Saudi Arabia and the most valuable bank in the Middle East. It was formed in 2021 by the merger of the National Commercial Bank and the Samba Financial Group.
The shareholders of NCB and Samba have approved the merger to create a new banking champion and a regional powerhouse. The merged entity will start operations on 1 April 2021 and will be the number one Saudi bank with ~30% market share.
