Wilbert Tucker Woodson High School, commonly known as W.T. Woodson High School or simply Woodson, (in the process of renaming to Carter G. Woodson High School) is a high school located in Fairfax County, Virginia, just outside the east end of the city of Fairfax limits, opposite the shopping center on Main Street.
Wilbert Tucker Woodson was the second-longest serving superintendent of Fairfax County Public Schools (1929-1961). He led the school system during the consolidation era, the Great Depression, World War II, and the first decade-and-a-half of the post-World War II baby boom.
