The Technical University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt ( Technische Hochschule Würzburg Schweinfurt, abbreviated: THWS) is a technical university in Germany, which was founded originally in 1807, and was restructured during 1971.
The Technical University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt is a state university that looks back on over 200 years of history. There are more than 9,000 students and 200 professors at our two sites in Würzburg and Schweinfurt, which are situated approximately 40 kilometres apart.
