Beirut Arab University (BAU) (Arabic: جـامعة بيروت العربية, romanized: Jāmʻah Bayrūt al-ʻArabīyah) is a Lebanese private university mainly located in Beirut, Lebanon. It was founded by the Lebanese Waqf El-Bir wal Ihsan Society in 1960.

National Recognition & International Accreditation. " The Lebanese Ministry of Education and Higher Education MEHE recognizes all the degrees awarded by BAU: BA, BS, BBA (License), BA or BS (License d’Enseignement), Diploma, MA, MS, MBA (Diplômes d’Etudes Supérieures), and PhD Doctorat.
