13 Jun 2013 · Rumah Terbalik – Asia 1st Upside Down House in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. This was my first visit to Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, famously described as “The Land Below The Wind”- a phrase used by seafarers in olden days to describe lands south of the typhoon belt.
Rumah Terbalik, the first upside down house of Malaysia is located in Kampung Telibong, Mile 21, Jalan Telibong, Tamparuli, Sabah, Malaysia. Nestled within the compound of Rumah Terbalik is also a souvenir shop (i.e. Tamu) well stocked with handicrafts and souvenirs and the 3D Wonders Museum.
