Nov 24, 2023 · Meta Ireland, the Dublin-based arm of Facebook and Instagram, reported revenues of €58.05 billion, pre-tax profits of €1.75 billion and staff costs of €423.44 million for 2022. The company also set aside €4.42 billion for potential regulatory fines and paid a dividend of €3.7 billion to its parent company.
The Data Protection Commission (DPC) has today announced the conclusion of two inquiries into the data processing operations of Meta Platforms Ireland Limited (“Meta Ireland”) in connection with the delivery of its Facebook and Instagram services.
