To treat duodenal (intestinal) ulcers, the recommended dose is 40 mg once daily in the morning for 2 to 4 weeks. To treat gastric (stomach) ulcers, the recommended dose is 40 mg once daily in the morning for 4 to 8 weeks.
Sandoz Tulip 40mg Tablet 10s (strip) is unlikely to be used in patients with liver disease. The use of Sandoz Tulip 40mg Tablet 10s (strip) in patients with active liver disease is contraindicated. Please consult your doctor for more details.

Oral. Gastro-oesophageal reflux disease. Adult: 20-40 mg once daily for 4 weeks (increased to 8 weeks if necessary). Maintenance: 20-40 mg daily. Alternatively, 20 mg daily on recurring symptoms. Child: ≥5 years 15–40 kg: 20 mg once daily for up to 8 weeks; >40 kg: 40 mg once daily for up to 8 weeks. Oral. Prophylaxis of NSAID-induced ulcers.
