The Batmobile was Batman 's primary mode of transportation in Batman Forever. After the Riddler broke in to the Batcave and destroyed this car it was replaced with a single-seater, open canopy Batmobile.
Batman Forever was released on June 16, 1995, to mixed reviews from critics, who praised the visuals, action sequences, soundtrack, and performances of Carrey and Jones, but criticized the screenplay and tonal departure from previous films, while others were divided by Kilmer's performance.

Jul 6, 2022 · Val Kilmer’s Batmobile was better than the one in Batman & Robin, but not by much. This car of the Caped Crusader added blue lighting to zhuzh things up, but that extra bit of flair detracts from it being a stealth vehicle for the Dark Knight.
