Perbadanan Kemajuan Negeri Pahang (PKNP) was established on December 7 th 1965 through LKNP Enactment 12/65 with its main responsibilities to formulate, facilitate and implement projects and ideas to upgrade the socio-economic well being of the state especially in the rural areas.
Perbadanan Kemajuan Negeri Pahang (PKNP) ditubuhkan pada 27 Disember 1965 melalui Enakmen LKNP Bil. 12/65 (kini dikenali sebagai Enakmen PKNP 1995) dengan tanggungjawab utamanya bagi meningkat, mendorong, memberi kemudahan serta menjalankan usaha-usaha pembangunan ekonomi dan sosial negeri terutamanya di kawasan luar bandar.
