At the forward perpendicular (FP) mark a point a distance 0.0166L+0.508 above this line. Repeat at the after perpendicular using 0.00833L+0.254 (you may have noticed this is half the FP amount).

Aug 29, 2009 · Booster, how about these other two: David Barker's 40 foot Sundancer catamaran and Gordon Trower's Mach 1, which wasn't built but his Warbird was, and that had plenty of reverse sheer too. Paul Whiting's Newspaper Taxi had a low bow and high stern which gave it a reverse sheer-like look - but was really straight along the gunwhale lines. Couldn't download the Elvstrom design.

Dec 10, 2010 · The sheer of the boat, as well as the transverse shape along the waterline, will dictate this to some degree and, in the end, it is all about what looks nice to you. Actual width of the boot top at any point would depend on the flare, flam or whatever the transverse shape is at that point.
