The street was built on fields surrounding Clarendon House on Piccadilly, which were developed by Sir Thomas Bond. It was built up in the 1720s, and by the end of the 18th century was a popular place for the upper-class residents of Mayfair to socialise.
Bond Street is in Mayfair which is quite an exclusive area of Central London. It starts on Oxford Street and there is a Tube station located here which is served by the Central line and Jubilee Line. There are also plenty of buses running along Oxford Street to get here.
