The earliest records of exploration by D.F.A. Harvey referring to the collection of plants in Endau-Rompin predate to 1881. His Majesty Sultan Sir Ibrahim Johor then proclaimed an area of 1,014 square kilometres as an Endau wildlife reserve Rompin in 1933 via Gezzet Notification (G.N) 827.

A great place to visit! Lots of fantastic birds, photo opportunity places and clean and well manicured paths. The bird show was great and included in the ticket price. Entrance fee is way higher than all other attractions in KL but still worth it and much cheaper than the UK! (about £30 for two).
